How to use a mil-spec Pull the Dot snap.

Armatus Carry Solutions uses Mil-Spec, Pull-the-Dot snaps on all products that come with soft loops (including the Vita EDC Wallet).   These snaps are directional and can only be opened and closed from a certain direction.  This is a safety feature that was designed to keep the snap from becoming accidentally disengaged.

Please note, that when brand new, Pull-the-Dot snaps can be very tight, and they do require a short break in period.  With time, the snap will become easier to open and close, but the directional safety feature built into this snap will not lose its effectiveness, ensuring that the wallet will be as secure throughout time as the day that you bought it.  (VIDEO TUTORIAL: Tips and Tricks for breaking in a Mil-Spec Pull the Dot Snap).
These snaps function directionally, and can only be snapped by hooking the bottom (top if using a Vita EDC Wallet) of the female socket on to the male attachment, and rolling the snap down into place (please see the video tutorial below).   When attaching, the part of the female socket that is hooked to the male socket first is the part opposite of where the “dot” is located on the outside of the snap’s cap.
